Undergraduate Honour’s Thesis Student, Environmental Studies
I am interested in studying anthropogenic toxicology in aquatic environments. I previously completed my honours thesis exposing fathead minnows to Athabasca oil-polluted snow melt. I am currently working as a research associate in the QE3 lab studying the efficacy of treated oil sands processing waters on aquatic organisms. I am interested in lab and field work and have worked at Queen’s Biology Station. I am extremely passionate and motivated to learn how human impacts change the environment and how we can mitigate those impacts. When I’m not in the lab or the field, I’m enjoying the outdoors by camping, hiking, and running which give me inspiration for my learning endeavours!
