CCFFR-SCL

Two of our lab team attended the CCFFR-SCL (Canadian Conference for Fisheries ResearchSociety of Canadian Limnologists) conference in London ON in early January. Both presented in the Understanding and Mitigating Impacts of Unconventional Oil Production and Transport on Canada’s Aquatic Resources Symposium.

Barry Madison presented “Assessing the effects of TiO2-treated oil sands wastewater exposure on developing fathead minnows” (other authors are Lauren Halliwell, Jessie Reynolds, Tim Leshuk, Frank Gu, Kerry Peru, John Headley, and Diane Orihel).

Jeffrey Cederwall presented “Diluted bitumen spills and the boreal freshwater ecosystem: a microcosm study” (other authors are Tyler Black, Jules Blais, Mark Hanson, Bruce Hollebone, Vince Palace, Jose Luis Rodriguez Gil, Charles Greer, Christine Maynard, Alice Ortmann, Rebecca Rooney, Sawyer Stoyanovich, and Diane Orihel).
